Production Improvements To Cab Rear Window {7301,7310}

Usage:

Challenger 65D (2ZJ),
Challenger 75C (4KK2230-Up),
Challenger 75D (5AR),
Challenger 85C (9TK1765-Up),
Challenger 85D (5GR) Agricultural Tractors

Description of Change: The rear window glass has been changed to improve sealing and visibility. The glass manufacturing process of the rear window has been improved. Previously, the tempering process could cause some vertical distortion waves when looking through the glass at an angle. The new process eliminates this distortional effect. In addition, the lower window latches have been now made adjustable, through use of a bolt on bracket. The previous design did not allow any window latch adjustment.

Adaptable To: The improved 117-6149 Glass was fully implemented effective with Challenger 65D (2ZJ2402), Challenger 75D (5AR343) and Challenger 85D (5GR482) Agricultural Tractors. The glass part number did not change, and is adaptable to Challenger 65D (2ZJ1965-Up), Challenger 75C (4KK2230-Up), Challenger 75D (5AR), Challenger 85C (9TK1765-Up), and Challenger 85D (5GR) machines.

The adjustable window latches were effective with Challenger 65D (2ZJ2402), Challenger 75D (5AR343), and Challenger 85D (5GR484) and are not easily adaptable to previous machines.
