Improvements Strengthen Left And Rear Cab Handholds {7256,7301}

Usage:

Challenger 65C (2ZJ1-1964),
Challenger 65D (2ZJ1965-Up),
Challenger 70C (2YL),
Challenger 75C (4KK),
Challenger 75D (5AR),
Challenger 85C (9TK),
Challenger 85D (4GR) Agricultural Tractors

Description of Change:

(D) 428 ± 50 mm (16.85 ± 1.96 in). (E) Two Places. (F) Existing Weld. (G) New Weld.

The left front and rear cab handholds have been improved. The stiffness of the attachment points has been increased with backing plates to minimize deflection under heavy loads. In addition, center supports have been added on the rear cab handhold to eliminate vibration at certain travel speeds.

Adaptable To: The improved handholds were effective with Challenger 65D (2ZJ2322), Challenger 75D (5AR229), and Challenger 85D (4GR337) Agricultural Tractors. The improvements are adaptable to Challenger 65C (2ZJ1-2321), Challenger 70C (2YL), Challenger 75C (4KK), and Challenger 85C (9TK) Agricultural Tractors by using the chart and illustration.

NOTE: The field installation differs from the production improvement, (the reinforcements are external to the cab skin on the field installation version).
