A new 3E-6450 Pressure Switch Assembly is available as a replacement for the 6T-1546 Switch Assembly for use on D400D Articulated Trucks equipped with the Jake Brake attachment. On some machines, the 6T-1546 Switch Assembly will not allow the Jake Brake to release at low engine speed at first start-up or low engine speed. The location of the 6T-1546 Switch Assembly can be found in the References.

NOTE: The D400D Articulated Trucks (8TF1258, 1259, 1266 and 1293) are equipped with the 9X-4276 Pressure Switch Assembly.

The parts shown in the chart must be installed along with the 3E-6450 Pressure Switch Assembly when replacing the 6T-1546 Switch Assembly.
