Description of Change: New universal joint groups are now used in the torque converter-to-transmission driveshaft groups. The new universal joint groups have new seals and caps to keep dirt and moisture out of the driveshaft splines.
Adaptable To: The new universal joint groups are direct replacements for the former universal joint groups which are canceled.
The end cap and seal for the new universal joint groups are serviced by a 106-9826 Seal and 106-9827 Cap. The spider and bolts are serviced with 7G-9555 Spider Assembly and 0L-0478 Bolts. See the illustration.
