Engine Coolant Temperature Gauge May Run High{7400,7453}

Usage:

Challenger 65C (2ZJ),
Challenger 75C (4KK) Agricultural Tractors

SUPPLEMENT: JUNE 13, 1994

Service Magazine; February 14, 1994; Page 4;" Engine Coolant Temperature Gauge May Run High " on Challenger 65C, Challenger 70C, Challenger 75C, and Challenger 85C Agricultural Tractors.

The 111-3194 Coolant Sender/Switch is effective with Challenger 65C (2ZJ569-Up), Challenger 70C (2YL244-up), Challenger 75C (4KK586-Up), and Challenger 85C (9TK287-Up) Agricultural Tractors.

--------------- END SUPPLEMENT ---------------

The calibration of the sender portion of the 107-4658 Coolant Sender and the 3E7544 Coolant Sender may cause a high temperature indication under normal operating conditions. Both the 107-4658 Coolant Sender and the 3E7544 Coolant Sender are replaced by a 111-3194 Coolant Sender. The new sender switch is calibrated to allow the gauge to run in the middle of the range under normal operating conditions.
