Description of Change: The torque specification for the bolts in the mounting group for the suspension control valve has been reduced from 47 ± 9 N·m (35 ± 6 lb ft) to 25 ± 6 N·m (18 ± 4 lb ft). This reduces the possibility of the suspension control valve sticking and scuffing if the bolts are too tight.
Adaptable To: The reduced torque specification on the two bolts is in effect with D25D (1HK424), D30D (3AJ329, 1PK35), D300D (5MG221), D350D (9RF507), D40D (2JJ101) and D400D (8TF775, 4EJ21) Articulated Trucks. The same lower torque should be used on all earlier machines.
