Description of Change: The sump guard assembly that is part of the 7U-7378 Crankcase Guard Group is now 10.0 mm (.40 in) deeper and the thickness of the material has been increased by 2.0 mm (.08 in). The new depth increases the clearance between the guard and oil cooler and the thicker material helps resist bending.
Adaptable To: The improved 7U-8436 Sump Guard Assembly is in effect with D20D (9MG78) and D250D (6NG234) Articulated Trucks and can be installed on all earlier machines. The part number has not changed.
