Brake Lining

Usage:

Remove Brake Linings

start by:

a) remove tire and rims

1. Push on brake linings (1) to push the pistons into the brake head.

2. Loosen bolts (3) away from the pins (4).

3. Install a 1/2"-13 NC eyebolt (2) in pins (4) and pull them out far enough to free them from brake linings (1).

4. Remove brake linings (1) from the brake head.

Install Brake Linings

1. Put brake linings (1) into position as shown and push pins (2) into the brake head.

2. Check the distance between the pins and the brake disc with a feeler gauge (3). The distance must not be less then .060 ± .02 in. (1.5 ± 0.5 mm). Move the pins in or out to give the correct clearance.

3. Tighten bolts (4) that hold the pins in place.
