Usage:
1. Loosen the two hose clamps, and slide hose (5) from breather (6) onto the breather tube. Loosen the bolt, and remove breather (6) from the valve cover.
NOTE: It is not necessary to remove hose (2), pipe (compressor outlet) (1) and hose (3) to remove the valve cover. However, the cover can be removed with less difficulty if these components are removed first.
2. Loosen four hose clamps (4), and remove hose (3), pipe (compressor outlet) (1) and hose (2).
3. Remove bolts (8), valve cover (7) and the gasket from the valve cover base.
NOTE: The following steps are for the installation of the valve cover.
4. Install a new gasket on the valve cover if necessary.
5. Put valve cover (7) and the gasket in position on the valve cover base.
6. Install bolts (8) that hold valve cover (7) in place. Tighten the bolts in the number sequence shown to a torque of 14 ± 3 N·m (10 ± 2 lb.ft.).
7. If hose (2), pipe (compressor outlet) (1) and hose (3) were removed, put them in position, and tighten four hose clamps (4) that hold them in place.
8. Put breather (6) in position on the valve cover, and tighten the bolt that holds it to a torque of 14 ± 3 N·m (10 ± 2 lb.ft.).
9. Slide hose (5) into position on breather, and tighten the two hose clamps that hold it in place.
