Usage:
1. Remove the fuel filter from the fuel filter base. See Remove Fuel Filter And Base.
2. Disconnect fuel inlet line (4) from the fuel transfer pump.
3. Disconnect fuel outlet line (1) from the fuel transfer pump.
4. Remove two bolts (2) and fuel transfer pump (3). Check the condition of the O-ring seal on the fuel transfer pump. If necessary, replace it.
NOTE: The following steps are for the installation of the fuel transfer pump.
5. Be sure the O-ring seal is in position on fuel transfer pump (3). Put clean engine oil on the O-ring seal.
6. Put fuel transfer pump (3) in position on the fuel injection pump, and install the bolts that hold it.
7. Connect fuel outlet line (1) and fuel inlet line (4) to the fuel transfer pump.
8. Install the fuel filter according to the directions on the filter.
