Bolts holding the 132-7379 Cover Plate to the 132-7386 Rotor Drive Gear Group may not have been tightened to the proper torque on certain PM465, PM565, and PM565B Cold Planers. These bolts need to be inspected to make sure that they were tightened correctly. If the bolts are loose, coolant my leak from inside the rotor housing into the gear box or oil may be lost from the gear box into the rotor coolant.

Rework Procedure
1. RAISE MACHINE TO ITS SERVICE HEIGHT POSITION. INSTALL LEG LOCKS AT ALL FOUR LEGS OF THE MACHINE.
2. OPEN REAR DOOR OF CUTTER HOUSING UNTIL IT ENGAGES THE Safety LATCH. PARK THE DOOR IN THE Safety LATCH.
3. THE ROTOR IS FULL OF A 50/50 MIX OF WATER AND ANTIFREEZE.
4. TURN THE ROTOR TO LOCATE THE DRAIN/FILL PLUGS. DRAIN THE COOLANT INTO A SUITABLE CONTAINER.
5. CLEAR THE AREA INSIDE THE ROTOR HOUSING AND CLOSE THE REAR DOOR.
6. REMOVE THE FOUR LEG LOCKS AND LOWER THE MACHINE UNTIL THE ROTOR IS RESTING ON THE GROUND OR FLOOR.
NOTE: THE NEXT STEPS WILL BE PERFORMED AT THE RIGHT SIDE OR NON DRIVE SIDE OF THE ROTOR HOUSING. DUE TO THE SIMILARITY OF THIS PROCEDURE ON BOTH THE PM465 AND PM565, THE DRAWING FOR THE PM465 WILL BE USED AS A REFERENCE.
7. REMOVE THE NECESSARY HARDWARE TO ALLOW REMOVAL OF THE FLOATING SIDE PLATE(16). IF MACHINE IS EQUIPPED WITH HYDRAULIC SIDE PLATES, DISCONNECT AND CAP HOSES AT THE TWO CYLINDERS.
8. BLOCK THE NOW EXPOSED END OF THE ROTOR TO PREVENT IT FROM ROLLING ONCE THE INNER SIDE PLATE IS REMOVED.
9. REMOVE THE NECESSARY HARDWARE TO ALLOW REMOVAL OF THE INNER SIDE PLATE(14) AND ROTOR SUPPORT BEARING. USE A LIFTING DEVICE TO REMOVE SIDE PLATE AND BEARING AS ONE ASSEMBLY.
10. REMOVE STUB SHAFT FROM END OF ROTOR.

12. IF ANY BOLTS HAVE FALLEN OUT AND ARE NOT REUSABLE, REPLACE WITH BOLT (8T-8917) AND WASHER (8T-4223).
NOTE: IF MORE THAN ONE BOLT IS FOUND TO BE LOOSE OR MISSING, A SOS SAMPLE SHOULD BE TAKEN FROM THE ROTOR DRIVE GEAR BOX TO ENSURE THAT COOLANT HAS NOT LEAKED FROM INSIDE THE ROTOR INTO THE GEAR BOX OIL.
13. CLEAN THE MATING SURFACES OF THE STUB SHAFT AND THE ROTOR.
14. APPLY RTV SEALANT (1E2080A)(8T-9014) TO THE MATING SURFACE OF THE STUB SHAFT. BE SURE TO SEAL AROUND ALL STUD HOLES.
