NOTE: This Program must be administered as soon as possible. When reporting the repair, use "PI3222" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description Code. Exception: If the repair is done after failure, use "PI3222" as the Part Number, "7751" as the Group Number, "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The 8T0855 Brake Pressure Gauge may fail due to pressure spikes in the hydraulic system of certain AP-1000B and AP-1055B Asphalt Pavers; and on certain Barber-Greene BG-260C and BG-2455C Asphalt Pavers manufactured by Caterpillar. The brake pressure guage needs to be removed.

1. Locate the throttle/brake manifold 119-4360 on the side of the hydraulic tank.
2. Remove the 8T-0855 gauge, 7X-7934 adapter, and 8T0788 elbow.
3. Install the new 6V0484 adapter, 6V3965 nipple, 6V0852 dust cap and 3J-1907 o-rings.
4. Verify the pressure setting of 500 psi, using the System Operation And Testing Manual for the machine model.
NOTE: THE PRESSURE GAUGE SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM THE MACHINE.
