NOTE: This Program can only be administered after a failure occurs. The decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS5574" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. Use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
NOTE: Although this Program is to be administered as described above on the Affected Product, parts should be removed from Parts Stock as soon as possible.
NOTE: This Revised Service Letter replaces the January 29, 1999 Service Letter. Changes have been made to the Action Required and Illustration 1.

Replace cracked pulley assemblies on the crank and/or fan drive groups of certain D4E, D6E and D6G SR Tractors. The 7N1152 Pulley assembled on the crank and/or fan drive groups, may have cracked rivets, separating the plates and loosing the V-belts on certain D4E, D6E and D6G SR Tractors.

Action Required
Replace the failed pulley with a new one that has a minimum of 0.2 mm of clearance between the external diameter of the internal plates, as shown in Illustration 1.
NOTE: Each machine will require a 7N1152 Pulley and the proper V-belt set (2P1388, 7M4705, 3P0071, 9M7221 or 7M4719 V-Belt Set).
Parts Stock
Remove all 7N1152 Pulleys that do not have clearance of at least 0.2 mm between the external diameter of the internal plates from Parts Stock.
Service Claim Allowances
NOTE: This is a 4-hour job.
Parts Stock
Submit one claim for all 7N1152 Pulleys removed from Parts Stock.
Parts Disposition
Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
