Voltage Regulator Can Cause Variable Ammeter Indications{1410,1401,1405,1406,7467}

Usage:

All Caterpillar Machines Equipped With Motorola Alternators And 6N3160 Voltage Regulators

Some 6N3160 Motorola Voltage Regulators can cause ammeter oscillations on machines equipped with Motorola alternators. This movement will not damage the electrical system and it will have no effect on charging the batteries. If desired, the regulator can be replaced with another 6N3160 Motorola Voltage Regulator that does not have a date code 840 and 852.
