Description of Change: A new air cleaner group is used on 769C Trucks and 768C Tractors. This new air cleaner group has a cap assembly to keep rain out of the air cleaner. The result is longer service life for the air cleaner element.
It was possible for rain to get inside the former air cleaner group and cause a restriction in the air cleaner element.
Adaptable As: The new air cleaner group can be used as a replacement for the former air cleaner group. Since the group is not available for parts service, order the separate parts as shown in the chart.
