Usage:
3516 ( 54Z ) Vehicular Engines Used In 789 Trucks
Description of Change: A new oil level gauge assembly (dipstick) is used on 3516 (54Z) Vehicular Engines in 789 Trucks. The new dipstick has a tight fit in the tube near the cap. This will prevent the dipstick from being pushed out of the tube by crankcase pressure.
Adaptable To: The new 9Y5813 Oil Level Gauge Assembly is a direct replacement for the former 7C6099 Oil Level Gauge Assembly. This change is in effect with engine serial number 54Z148.
