Description of Change: A new front suspension cylinder rod is used on 785 Trucks. The new cylinder rod is heat treated farther down on its taper and it has less chrome thickness than the former cylinder rod. These two improvements will increase the service life of the cylinder rod.
Adaptable To: The new 9T6942 Rod is a direct replacement for the former 9T1792 Rod in the 1U4605 Front Suspension Group.
