More Bolts Hold Flywheel Housing Group

Usage:

All 6.25 Bore 6 Cylinder Engines

Description of Change: A new flywheel housing assembly, a new timing gear housing assembly, and two new gaskets are used on the above engines. These parts use more bolts to hold the housings together and to hold both housings to the cylinder block. When the former parts were used, gaskets were some times damaged by a shift in position of the housings. The added bolts hold the housings tighter and in the correct position.

Adaptable To: The new parts are direct replacements for the former parts on earlier models. The new housing assemblies can be used with former cylinder block assemblies. When the new parts are used with former parts, there is no advantage because the extra bolts can not be used.
