Spacers Added To Alternator Group To Improve The Mounting
Usage:
3304, 3306 Industrial and Marine Engines
Description of Change: Spacers are now used in some of the alternator groups for the above engines. Formerly, it was possible to break the mounting lugs when the bolts were tightened. With the addition of the spacers, the bolts can be tightened to the correct torque, and yet not break the mounting lugs. The spacer can also prevent damage to the bolts that hold the 7N1425 Bracket Assembly in place.
Adaptable To: The new parts in the chart can be installed on the alternator groups shown if a 7N1425 Bracket Assembly is used as a mount.
