This reference article tells about the use of a new water pump impeller and housing which increase the pressure from the pump.
Because the housings and the impeller used in earlier and later water pumps can not be mixed, the correct rebuild kit must be used to make a repair. The chart that follows has the information needed to make the correct selection when ordering a repair kit.
