Usage:
Six new tools can be fabricated for assembly and disassembly of the 7271 Marine Transmission. The FT1368 Mounting Adapter is used to hold the forward or reverse top shaft to the 1P2420 Transmission Repair Stand for assembly or disassembly of clutches.

The FT1365, FT1366 and FT1367 Puller Adapters are used to remove the drive gears from the top shaft. The FT1367 Puller Adapter is used on the marine transmissions with 5.09:1 and 4.5:1 ratios. The FT1366 Puller Adapter is used on the marine transmissions with 6.07:1 and 5.55:1 ratios. The FT1365 Puller Adapter is used on marine transmissions with a 7.0:1 ratio. The FT1365 Puller Adapter is also used to remove the gear on the input shaft for all the 7271 Marine Transmissions.
The FT1369 Seal Installer is used to install the seal for the output shaft. The FT1370 Seal Installer is used to install the seals for the input shaft.
