Use FT1631 Flare Nut Wrench For Connector In Bulldozer Lift Circuit{0610,0611,0623}

Usage:

814B Tractors, 815B and 816B Compactors

The FT1631 Flare Nut Wrench is now available for easier installation and removal of the tube assembly in the right bulldozer lift circuit for the above models. The connector between the lift tube assembly and the hydraulic control valve is difficult to tighten or loosen with a standard wrench, because of its location.

The FT1631 Wrench is a 1.50" flare nut wrench, with a handle bent at a 90° angle. This permits better access to the connector. See the illustrations.

Use of the FT1631 Wrench to tighten the tube assembly connector

The new wrench is made for use on the connector for the right lift circuit, but it can also be used for the connector for the left circuit. Removal of the lift circuit tube assemblies is a necessary step before service work can be done on the tilt circuit lines. Also, the tube assembly for the right lift circuit must be removed if the tee fitting that is above it must be either tightened or removed.

The new wrench can be made according to the FT1631 drawings, available from your Division Service Manager. Dimensions and instructions to bend the handle are included.
