New Bracket Prevents Damage To Horn Wires{7303}

Usage:

All Series "
G"
Motor Graders

Description of Change: A new bracket is used in the air horn group and electric horn group on Series "G" Motor Graders. The new bracket, which is fastened to the steering pump, prevents movement of the horn retainer.

Also, in the air horn group two new fittings are used to make the assembly of the hose assembly and control valve easier.

Formerly, the horn retainer base was held in place with contact adhesive. If the adhesive broke loose it was possible for the retainer to turn and damage or break the horn wires.

Adaptable To: The new 5T4030 Bracket is adaptable to all Series "G" Motor Graders. The new 4S7606 Elbow and 5K2408 Nipple are direct replacements for the former 3D7587 Union, 5P3238 Nipple, and 3B6552 Elbow. It will be necessary to install the parts as shown in the illustration.
