Increased Clearance Between Hoist Cylinder Assembly And Rod{5102,7258}

773B And 777 Trucks

The clearance between the hoist cylinder lands and the cylinder rod has been increased on 773B and 777 Trucks. This was necessary to prevent contact of the rod and the cylinder lands.

If a rod becomes scored (damaged) because of contact with the lands, replacement of the rod is necessary. Part numbers of the rods did not change. Also, measure the inside diameter of the cylinder lands. See the illustrations for correct diameters. If the diameters are less than those shown, machine them to the correct diameters.

If the diameters of the lands are larger than the dimensions shown, or the lands are damaged and cannot be machined to the correct diameter, use new cylinders. Part numbers of the cylinders did not change.
