Add Lubricant For Motor Shaft Bearing{5058,5200}

Usage:

12G, 14G, 130G, 140G Motor Graders

When the 9J439 Circle Drive Motor Group in the above motor grader models is disassembled for any reason, be sure to put grease in the 5P1829 Shaft Ball Bearing before assembly. See the illustration.

The bearing has a seal on the input spline side of the bearing. This seal does not permit lubrication from the circle drive group to get to the bearing. No oil from the motor side of the bearing can get to the bearing because of the shaft seal installed on the motor.

Our recommendation is to pack (fill) the 5P1829 Shaft Ball Bearing half full with 2S3230 Bearing Lubricant.

Make a note of this procedure in the Disassembly and Assembly modules for the above motor graders.
