D8K Tractors And 583K Pipelayers
Description of Change: A new front exhaust manifold is used in the exhaust manifold group on D8K Tractors and 583K Pipelayers. Also, longer mounting studs are used in the cylinder heads so hardened washers can be used to keep the manifold tight. To prevent cracks caused by thermal expansion, four of the mounting holes in the new front manifold were made larger.
Adaptable To: The new parts, used together, are a direct replacement for the former parts.
