Improved Tach Drive Adapter Has Step In Shaft To Keep Coupling Engaged{0651,0653}

Usage:


The 1W2316 Tach Drive Adapter Assembly is now used in the 5P8687 Tee Test Tool Group.

This new adapter has a step in the drive shaft. The step holds the 4N538 Coupling in position without the use of a 5P537 Washer which was used as a spacer.

The former 9N3018 Tach Drive Adapter Assembly did not have a step in the drive shaft. At times it was possible for the 4N538 Coupling to disconnect from the engine drive shaft.


The arrows (marks) show the step in the drive shaft in this section drawing of the new 1W2316 Tach Drive Adapter Assembly.
