New Sure Seal Electrical Connectors Used In Electrical Wiring Harnesses; Use 6V3000 Seal Repair Kit To Repair Sure Seal Electrical Connectors{0611,1408}

Usage:

Sure Seal Electrical Connectors are now used in electrical wiring harnesses (See Illustration 1). Formerly, molded-on bullet connectors were used.

Advantages of the Sure Seal Connectors are:

... The Sure Seal Connectors are corrosion resistant.

... Separate contacts can be installed without modification to the harness. Formerly, a replacement of the complete wiring harness had to be made.

... The Sure Seal Connectors will give longer service life.

The 6V3000 Sure Seal Repair Kit (see Illustration 2) is needed to make field repairs on any electrical wiring harness which has Sure Seal Connectors. Also, the 6V3000 Sure Seal Repair Kit can be used to make up new wiring harnesses for attachments or modifications to vehicles.

Special Instruction Form No. SMHS7531 is included with the 6V3000 Sure Seal Repair Kit. The Special Instruction gives complete information for use of the repair kit.
