Description of Change: A new clamp assembly, retainer ring, and associated hardware are used on each end of the 7W-9424 Tube (A) in the engine oil lines groups used on these engines. The new clamp assemblies provide a more secure grip on the tube and help prevent the tube from vibrating.
Adaptable To: The illustration and Chart A identify the new components in the 106-5652 (G3606 and G3608) and 105-3182 (G3612 and G3616) Engine Oil Lines Groups.
NOTICE |
---|
If the new 126-4493 Clamp Assembly and 126-4229 Retainer Ring are used to replace the former 1W-4152 Retainer and 1W-4153 Retaining Ring, be sure to remove clips and brackets identified in the illustration and Chart B. If these clips and brackets are not removed, they could cause wear on the tubes.
