New Oil Temperature Regulator Lowers Normal Engine Oil Operating Temperature{1330}

Usage:

3600 Family Of Engines

Description of Change: A new oil temperature regulator is being used to lower the normal operating temperature of the engine oil from, 85°C (185°F) to 83°C (181°F). The full open temperature of the new oil temperature regulator will also be lowered by 4°C (39°F). This change will cause the oil temperature regulator to bypass the maximum oil flow to the oil cooler sooner. This will result in a more desirable oil temperature range.

Adaptable To: The new 120-9453 Oil Temperature Regulator is a direct replacement for the 6I-4954 Oil Temperature Regulator.
