3208 (01Z) Marine Engines
Description of Change: 3208 turbocharged, aftercooled, marine engines with foam filter element air cleaners, are no longer shipped with an air filter service indicator. If a 3208 turbocharged, aftercooled, marine engine with a foam filter element air cleaner has an indicator, disregard it and inspect the filter every 50 hours of operation.
Adaptable To: 3208 turbocharged, aftercooled, marine engines with 116-3340, 116-3341, 9Y-4377 and 7E-0408 Air Cleaner Groups are no longer shipped with the 1W-0613 Air Filter Indicator. This change is effective with 3208 (01Z26634-Up) Marine Engines.
NOTE: Warranty claims should not be filed for missing or omitted indicators on engines received from the factory.
