Evaporator Coil - Remove and Install

Usage:

308 GG8

Removal Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove hydraulic lockout control

  2. Remove right armrest assembly

  3. Remove seat

  1. Recover the air conditioner refrigerant from the air conditioner system. Refer to Service Manual, SENR5664, "Air Conditioning and Heating Systems with R-134a Refrigerant" for the Procedure. Refer to Special Publication NEDG5065, "Air Conditioning Tools" for the tools

  2. Remove bolts (1) and vent piping (2).

  3. Remove bolts (3) and vent piping (4).

  4. Remove bolt (5) and vent piping (6).

  5. Remove bolts (7) and panel (8).

  6. Remove bolts (9).

  7. Cut cable strap (10).

  8. Disconnect harness assembly (11).

  9. Disconnect harness assemblies (14).

  10. Remove bolts (12) and blower motor (13).

  11. Remove screws (15) and panel (16).

  12. Remove bolt (17) and panel (18).

  13. Disconnect hose assemblies (19).

  14. Remove Evaporator coil (20).

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the evaporator coil (20) in the reverse order or removal.
