Heating and Air Conditioning Unit - Remove and Install
Start By:
- Remove hydraulic lockout control
- Remove right armrest assembly
- Remove seat
- Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF position.
- Recover the air conditioner refrigerant from the air conditioner system Refer to Service Manual, SENR5664, "Air Conditioning and Heating Systems with R-134a Refrigerant" for the procedure. Refer to Special Publication, NEDG5065, "Air Conditioning Tools" for the tools.
- Drain the coolant from the cooling system into a suitable container for storage or for disposal. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Coolant (DEAC _ Change" or Operation and Maintenance Manual, "Cooling System Extended Life Coolant - Change" for the proper draining procedure.

- Remove five bolts (9).

- Disconnect harness assembly (11).

- Remove bolts (12) and blower motor (14).

- Disconnect hose assemblies (18) and (16).
- Remove bolts (19) and heating and air conditioning unit (20).
- Install Heating and air conditioning unit (20) in the reverse order of removal.
