Air Starting Motor - Remove

Usage:

G3516 AL7

Removal Procedure

Note: Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life.

------ WARNING! ------

Shut off the air supply at the air reservoir. Drain the pressure air from the air starting system. Sudden release of pressure air can cause personal injury.

------ WARNING! ------

Fuel leaked or spilled onto hot surfaces or electrical components can cause a fire. Turn the disconnect switch OFF when draining and/or removing any fuel system components.

  1. Turn OFF the air supply at the air reservoir. Ensure that the air pressure is drained from the starting air system.

  2. If necessary, turn OFF the gas supply if gas is being used. Ensure that the gas is drained from the starting air system.
