Description of Change: The new fuel line and clamp assembly replaces the previous part and allows for an easier installation.
Adaptable To: The new 473-7645 Fuel Line and 481-5873 Clamp As replaces the existing 437-0017 Fuel Line. The new fuel line and clamp assembly are adaptable back to first production on the serial numbers listed above.
This change is effective for the serial numbers listed in Table 1.

- Remove fuel line (1) .

- Remove two clamp assemblies (2) from accumulator line.
- Loosen clamp bracket to head bolt (3) .
- Loosen fuel line (4) .
- Loosen junction block to adapter plate bolts (5) .

- Loosen adapter plate to side cover bolts (6) .
- Lubricate collar and threads and install fuel line (1). Do not tighten the fuel line.

- Install two clamp assemblies (2) around accumulator and junction block lines and hand tighten clamp bolt to bracket. Do not fully tighten the clamp bolt.
- Tighten fuel line (3) to 38 N·m (28 lb ft).
- Tighten fuel line (1) to 38 N·m (28 lb ft).
- Tighten fuel line (3) to 100 N·m (74 lb ft).
- Tighten fuel line (1) to 100 N·m (74 lb ft).
- Tighten fuel line clamp bolt (4) to standard torque 47 N·m (35 lb ft).
- Tighten fuel line bracket to cylinder head bolt (5) to standard torque 47 N·m (35 lb ft).
- Tighten 5/16 junction block to adapter plate bolts (6) to standard torque 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

- Tighten 3/8 adapter plate to side cover bolts (7) to standard torque 47 N·m (35 lb ft).
