Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Use Tooling (A) and a suitable press to install hub (12) on shaft assembly (6).
- Use Tooling (A) and a suitable press to install shaft assembly (6) into housing (5). Install shaft assembly (6) until the bearing is flush with housing (5).
- Use Tooling (B) and a suitable press to install seal assembly (11) in housing (5). The operating height of seal assembly (11) is
10.92 ± 0.13 cm (4.300 ± 0.050 inch) . - Use Tooling (A) and a suitable press to install impeller (10) onto shaft assembly (6).
- Apply Tooling (C) to O-ring seal (9). Install seal (4), seal (3), and O-ring seal (9).
- Install cover (2), bolts (8), and O-ring seal (1).
- Install pulley (13) and bolts (7).
