Start By:
- Remove diesel exhaust fluid manifold.

Care must be taken to ensure that fluids are contained during performance of inspection, maintenance, testing, adjusting, and repair of the product. Be prepared to collect the fluid with suitable containers before opening any compartment or disassembling any component containing fluids. Refer to Special Publication, NENG2500, "Dealer Service Tool Catalog" for tools and supplies suitable to collect and contain fluids on Cat products. Dispose of all fluids according to local regulations and mandates. |
- Remove top panel (1) .

- Disconnect harness assembly (2) .

- Use the follow procedure in order to disconnect the harness assembly from the circuit breaker.
- Loosen screw (4) and remove wire (5) from circuit breaker (3) .

- Install Tooling (A) into the cavity as shown in order to disengage the retainer.

- Gently pull wire (6) out of circuit breaker (3).
Note: Repeat Steps 3.b and 3.c for the remaining wire.

Note: Record the location of each wire prior to removal. Diesel exhaust fluid pump wires must be reinstalled in the correct locations or severe damage can occur.
- Remove cable straps (7) .

- Remove wing nuts (8) and position the harness assembly and the hose assemblies aside.

- Remove hold-downs (9) and remove diesel exhaust fluid pump (10) .

- Note the orientation of the check valves and remove check valve (11) and (12) .

Installation Procedure
- Install diesel exhaust fluid pump (10) in the reverse order of removal.
