New Flywheel Housing Gasket Used{1157}

Usage:

Remanufactured 3406 (8SB3004-Up),
Remanufactured 3406B (7XC9677-Up),
Remanufactured 3406E (4AS192-Up) Truck Engines

Description of Change: New flywheel housing gaskets are used in these engines. The new gaskets include an anti-stick coating on one side (the beaded side) only . This coating will help prevent gasket fracture due to thermal scrubbing. The new gaskets will help prevent leaks between the flywheel housing and cylinder block.

Adaptable To: The new 159-3021 Gasket is a direct replacement for the former 105-5082 Gasket in Remanufactured 3406 (8SB) and 3406B (7XC) Truck Engines. The new 155-5619 Gasket is a direct replacement for the former 108-5891 Gasket in Remanufactured 3406E (4AS) Truck Engines. The former gaskets are canceled. The new gaskets are in effect as shown above.
