New Rocker Arms And Valve Adjusting Screw{1123}

Usage:

3406E (1LW23717-UP, 5DS00841-UP) Truck Engines

Description of Change: New rocker arms are being used in the above engines. The new rocker arms have a new material used for the roller pin. This improved material will reduce the sliding motion of the rollers.

Adaptable To: The 108-5897 Inlet/Exhaust Rocker Arm has been cancelled and replaced by the new 162-9175 Inlet/Exhaust Rocker Arm. The 137-4060 Unit Injector Rocker Arm has been cancelled and replaced by the new 162-9174 Unit Injector Rocker Arm. The 4P-4313 Valve Rocker Arm Adjusting Screw has also been cancelled and replaced by the harder 164-5950 Valve Rocker Arm Adjusting Screw. All of the above mentioned parts are effective with the above engines and are retrofitable to all 3406E Truck Engines.
