Description of Change: The new full feature electronic control group is available for use on the above truck engines.
Adaptable To: The new 157-3708 Electronic Control Group is a direct replacement for the former 149-6990 Electronic Control Group on the above truck engines. The former electronic control group has been canceled. The new full feature electronic control group is effective with 3126 (7AS27551-Up) Truck Engines. The new electronic control group is adaptable to 3126 (7AS00001 through 7AS27550) Truck Engines. The new electronic control group eliminates the need for the installation of the 161-7153 Harness Assembly with diode.
