New Flywheel Housing Gasket Used {1157}

Usage:

Remanufactured 3406 (8SB3004-Up),
Remanufactured 3406B (7XC9677-Up),
Remanufactured 3406E (4AS192-Up) Truck Engines

Description of Change: New flywheel housing gaskets are used in these engines. The new gaskets include an anti-stick coating on one side (the beaded side) only. This coating will help prevent gasket fracture due to thermal scrubbing. The new gaskets will help prevent leaks between the flywheel housing and cylinder block.

Adaptable To: The new 159-3021 Gasket is a direct replacement for the former 105-5082 Gasket in Remanufactured 3406 (8SB) and 3406B (7XC) Truck Engines. The new 155-5619 Gasket is a direct replacement for the former 108-5891 Gasket in Remanufactured 3406E (4AS) Truck Engines. The former gaskets are canceled. The new gaskets are in effect as shown above.
