The References INCORRECTLY indicate the crankshaft gear should be heated to a maximum temperature of 316°C (601°F) for installation onto the crankshaft. The CORRECT procedure is to heat the crankshaft gear to no more than 210°C (410°F) for no more than 1 hour prior to installation on the crankshaft. Be sure to make note of this information in the referenced Specifications modules.
