3306C (9TL19966-Up) Truck Engines
Description of Change: Effective with the above truck engines only, a new fuel injection nozzle with a higher VOP setting is being used. The higher VOP setting [20670 kPa (3000 psi) compared to the 17225 kPa (2500 psi) of the former nozzle] will help provide more consistent particulate emissions with the 3306C Truck Engine.
Adaptable To: The new 154-3198 Fuel Injection Nozzle Assembly replaces the 100-7564 Fuel Injection Nozzle Assembly in the above engines ONLY. The 100-7564 Fuel Injection Nozzle Assembly should continue to be used in 3306C (9TL1 through 19965) Truck Engines. This is because there is a slight variation in fuel settings between the two nozzle designs.
