--------------- END SUPPLEMENT ---------------
Description of Change: A new gear assembly and stub shaft are used in the front gear group on these truck engines. The new gear assembly has the web centered on the gear to allow alignment of the center of the bearing with the center of the gear. By aligning the bearing and the gear, the idler will maintain true alignment of the gear teeth under high loads.
Location of the new 133-7083 Stub Shaft (1) and 133-7086 Gear Assembly in the 117-2750 Front Gear Group
Adaptable To: When used together, the new 133-7083 Stub Shaft (1) and 133-7086 Gear Assembly are a direct replacement for the 119-3778 Stub Shaft and 119-3777 or 129-0418 Gear Assembly in the 117-2750 Front Gear Group on these truck engines.
NOTE: The bearing and gear which make up the 133-7086 Gear Assembly are not available for part service separately.
NOTE: The 133-7083 Stub Shaft must be used when using the 133-7086 Gear Assembly.
NOTE: The new 133-7083 Stub Shaft and 133-7086 Gear Assembly can NOT be used on 3176 (2YG, 7LJ) or 3176B (9CK) Truck Engines because of a lack of front cover clearance.
