Description of Change: An new lifter arm assembly with a crowned roller is used in the lifter groups on these machine engines. A crowned roller reduces edge loading on the roller and camshaft.

New 146-8147 Lifter Arm Assembly

Adaptable To: The new 146-8147 Lifter Arm Assembly is a direct replacement for the former 7W-3989 Lifter Arm Assembly. The former lifter arm assembly is canceled. The new 146-8147 Lifter Arm Assembly is used in the 7C-6078 Lifter Group in the above engines with mechanical unit injection. The new 146-8147 Lifter Arm Assembly is used in the 101-3263 Lifter Group in 3116 and 3126 engines with Hydraulically Actuated Electronic Unit Injectors (HEUI).

The new 146-8147 Lifter Arm Assembly is effective in the 7C-6078 Lifter Group in the 3116 (9GK68115, 9YN4748, 2FR3914) Truck Engines.

The new 146-8147 Lifter Arm Assembly is effective in the 101-3262 Lifter Group in the 3116 HEUI (8WL6345, 2CW1076) and 3126 HEUI (1WM26380, 4ES450) Truck Engines.
