Improved 1U-7430 Front Crankshaft Seal Installer Available{1160}
Usage:
3116 (7SF, 9CJ, 2BK, 9GK, 7JL, 8WL, 9LN, 9YN) Truck Engines
An improved 1U-7430 Seal Installer is available to install the front crankshaft seal in these engines. The overall length of the improved installer has been increased by 5.0 mm (.20 in) to 35.0 mm (1.38 in). Because the improved installer is longer, it does not require the additional 5U-1118 Washers used with damper pulley mounting bolts to install the front crankshaft seal. When using the improved seal installer, tighten the damper pulley mounting bolts until the seal installer bottoms out.
