In the past, red dye markings were placed on rocker arm bolts; jake bolts, nuts, and adjusting screws; and Electronic Unit Injector (EUI) and wire nuts. The markings were used in order to verify that torque and lash settings were performed. To increase efficiency, only EUI nuts will be marked with red dye in the future.
