Fuel Injector Group Rack Movement
Usage:
3116 Truck Engines
Service information for the 3116 Truck Engine indicates the fuel injector plunger must be depressed before the rack can be moved in the injector. This is not always true. Due to variation in some dimensional tolerances, sometimes the rack can be moved without depressing the plunger. The fact that the rack can be moved without depressing the plunger DOES NOT indicate that there is anything wrong with the fuel injector group.
