Identification Of Remanufactured Direct Injection Fuel Nozzles (DlFN)

3200, 3300, And 3400 Families Of Truck Engines

The shell of a remanufactured fuel nozzle may have been used previously on any one of a number different DIFN's The part number of the DIFN is located on the nozzle shell. During the remanufacturing process the former part number is covered by XXXXXX and the new remanufactured part number is acid etched on the shell. In some cases a part of the former part number may not be completely obscured by the XXXXXX, but this part number should be ignored. The correct remanufactured DIFN part number is the part number NOT obscured by the XXXXXX.
