Videotapes Provide 3406 Truck Engine Maintenance Information

Usage:


Caterpillar Engine Service Training has available a series of four videotapes on the maintenance of the 3406 Truck Engine. These videotapes are directed towards dealer technicians an owner/operators who do their own maintenance. These videotapes can be ordered through the normal literature ordering channels. The individual videotapes are $15 apiece, or the entire series can be ordered for $40.

Form Number LEVN2125, Overview of 3406 Truck Engine

Part one of the series gives an overview of the 3406 Truck Engine. It features the fuel, intake, exhaust, and lubrication systems.

Form Number LEVN2126, Daily Maintenance of 3406 Truck Engine

This videotape completes the systems overview by describing the cooling and electrical systems. It also includes the specifics of daily maintenance and promotes the philosophy of preventive maintenance.

Form Number LEVN2127, 3406 Truck Engine Preventive Maintenance Level One

This videotape discusses and demonstrates procedures of Level One Preventive Maintenance. It also includes valve adjustments.

Form Number LEVN2128, 3406 Truck Engine Preventive Maintenance Level Two

Part four of the series Preventive Maintenance Level Two. This includes reconditioning the cooling system and inspection of critical components.
